Bandana Size Guide

All our sizes vary based on your pups weight, neck girth and length of hair. We generally recommend making sure there is two fingers width space between the bandana and your pup's neck for the utmost comfortability. Still unsure which size to get? Shoot us a message with your pups breed, neck circumference and weight and we will do our best to size you appropriately!

Are you the biggest bear around town that you need a XXL size with extra tie length? Or the tiniest of critters that needs the tiniest of sizes? Send us a message and let us know how we can help you strut in style.

Note: Bandanas are always varying loop lengths pending on the thickness of the fabric. Thicker fabrics, such as canvas or linen blends will be more difficult to tie and harder to achieve a larger loop length. If you are on the fence, we suggest sizing up!

Bandanas typically 8-13" loop length

Breeds: Best for our littlest of furry friends! (Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Miniature Pinscher, Pomeranian). Take a look at the measurements, this may meet the needs of your feline friends too!

Typical cats and kittens seem to fit best into XS bandanas from about 10-15 pounds. If you have a small feline, we may suggest a custom XXS!

Marlie is a 10 pound maltipoo. She has a 10" neck, fits perfectly into the XS with enough extra neck room for a loose fit!

Looking for the right fit for your new puppies gotcha day? If they are less than 15 pounds (pending the breed) XS may be the right size at first, but watch out, they might grow out of it quickly!

Bandanas typically 11-16" loop length

Breeds: This size typically meets the needs of our armful size pets! (Boston terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Beagle, French bulldog, Basenji, Miniature Schnauzer).

Oreo and Lola are each 20 pounds with 11-12" necks. They find the smalls to be the perfect size for a looser fit with having longer hair.

Yoko is the sweetest little French Bulldog located in Panama! She fits perfectly into a size small at 21 pounds with a 13.5 inch neck!

Most with larger breed dogs, start with a small on their gotcha day which usually fits them until they 30 lbs. before a medium is best! For size comparison, the pup on the left wearing an XS and the pup on the right wearing a Small.

Bandanas typically 13-19" loop length

Breeds: Perfect for those pups that are getting too big to pick up and hold! (Australian Shepard, Border Collie, Basset Hound, Vizsla, Bulldog, Boxer, Shiba Inu, German Shorthaired Pointer).

This sweet Corgi, Ume, prefers to size up into a medium for the best fit so it sits lower than her collar. Ume is 25 pounds and has a 14" neck

Ember is an English Springer who weighs 43 pounds. She has a neck measurement of 14" so is just out of the realm of a small and finds the medium to fit her perfectly!

Stassi is a mini American Shepard and weighs about 35 pounds! Her neck is 15" and Stassi loves her bandanas to fit "loose", so Mediums are the perfect look for her to strut her stuff!

Bandanas typically 15-23" loop length

Breeds: Best for breeds on the larger side of life! (Lab, Golden Retriever, Large Doodle Mix, Great Dane, Alaskan Husky, Afghan Hound, Belgian Sheepdog, Bernese Mountain Dog, Bloodhound, St. Benard). Our size large is perfect for humans to wear too!

Cabbie is 60 pounds and has a 16" neck. She loves the look of the large bandanas because there is plenty of room for it to hang loose and fit her larger style slip collars!

Dolly may be on the shorter side, but at 60 pounds with a 18.5" neck, she finds a large fits her best to ensure her neck also has plenty of room. She likes to scrunch up or fold over the cuff.

Weighing in a 75 pounds, Arlo is the most dapper English Cream Golden Retriever. He fits into the end range of our size large so he better hold off on those extra cookies.

Bandanas typically 15-26" loop length

Breeds: Got a big ol' pooch? Don't worry we have you covered! (Any large dogs that are tipping the scales: Lab, Golden Retriever, Large Doodle Mix, Great Dane, Alaskan Husky, Bernese Mountain Dog, St. Benard).

Raya is a 90 pound Italian mastiff with a 20" neck circumference. Raya selects the XL so her bandana is loose enough to fit two fingers space and wear a collar as well!

Nash is 75 pounds and tends to sway into an XL. He has a thicker neck and loves the extra space to give his neck some room to breathe on all his adventures.

As an 80 pound doodle mix, Phyllis often changes her coat length. When her coat is much shaggier we size up from a Large to an XL to ensure her mane has enough breathing room.

Goose is a 120 pound doodle. With his long fur, he needed an XXL to make sure the tie length was long enough!

Kuma currently tips the scale at nearly 100 pounds. Although he has only a 19" neck, He recently transitioned to an XXL to ensure this size will still fit on top of all his neck floof for many, many more pounds.

These sweet mini doodles from Rosebud labradoodles go to their forever home at around 5-7 pounds. The XS were even too big for them so we helped to make custom XXS bandanas for their gotcha day.

Accessory Size Guide

All our sizes vary based on the type of fabric the accessory is made from. The thicker the fabric, the larger overall size the accessory will be. Below are the typical final dimensions of accessories below, if you like the oversized look, be sure to size up! Still unsure which size to get? Shoot us a message with your pups breed, weight and your general fit preferences and we will do our best to size you appropriately!

Please note accessories do vary slightly in sizes pending the thickness of the fabric. Thicker fabrics, such as canvas, corduroy or upholstery will be overall slightly larger than accessories made from cotton fabric. If you prefer the larger/oversized look, we recommend sizing up!

Aurora is wearing our Sailor Bow attached to her collar in a size small. Aurora is 22 pounds her little brother Cash at 19 pounds, also rocks a size small in his BFW!

Luxie is only 14 pounds but you can see how big and oversized a bowtie can look on this English Cream long-haired dachshund! This is a size small bowtie but made from thick upholstery fabric giving it a larger look!

At 30 and 33 pounds, Millie and Arlo fit perfectly into a size medium in both their bowties and sailor bows!

Harley is a 25 pound Cocker Spaniel that dresses in our size Medium Bowties with velcro loops. This size is preferred to fit his frame "just right".

Olive is the Queen of rocking the But First, West Sailor bow. She is able to dress up a size medium as a solo fit or double it with a bandana!

Oatmeal, a stunner of a golden retriever, is 60 pounds and prefers our size Large accessories. Oatmeal's big brother, Beaux, is a bit bigger and prefers the XL.

Due to Monaco's medication, he fluctuates in his weight, so he finds both medium and large accessories suit him pending if he wants just the right fit or likes to oversize.

Dolly may be on the shorter side, but at 60 pounds with a 18.5" neck, she likes the size large Sailor Bow on Dolly to frame her face but not be too big to drag on the ground or get in the way of her paws!

The goodest boy, Hugh, is 75 pounds and prefers to size up to the XL for his bandanas and accessories. He loves the oversized look so people always notice he is a Classy Mother Pupper!

This beautiful Italian Mastiff is 90 pounds of pure sweetness and has a 20" neck. Here you can see her in an XL bandana and an XL sailor bow.

Hendrix is a 6 year old Great Pyrenees mix and weighs almost 90 pounds. He loves to style up his classiness with thicker bowties so it doesn't get lost in his fluff!

Yuki, a Agouti Siberian Husky, is 51 pounds. We helped make a custom sailor bow with extra long hang ties to compliment her beautiful furs for the finest of occasions.
