Shipping Policy

Return Policy

Our packaging style is minimalistic, environmentally friendly and reusable. Expect to not find much (if any) plastic included with the packaging of your orders. We ship our items in 100% recyclable reusable poly mailers or 100% recyclable and reusable mailers or boxes. The tape and stickers used to seal the packages are fully compostable and printed with soy based ink. If you don't reuse your poly mailer or any other product BF, West is packaged in, please be kind and recycle it for Mother Earth. 

 

The buyer is responsible for providing an address that these carriers recognize as a deliverable address. Unfortunately, we have no control over a shipment once a package departs our makers studio. If there are any issues with delivery for reason(s) out of our control (address provided to us is not accurate, issues within the shipping company, etc.) we are not responsible for shipping delays or inability of the item(s) to be delivered. We are not responsible for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as delayed items, damages, or lost packages. We are not responsible for delays in shipping that are out of our control, such as snowstorms, natural disasters, or any other extraordinary circumstance that causes unforeseen interference with carrier routes.

Not in love? Items must be in their original state: Unwashed, unworn, unaltered. Returns that are damaged or soiled or not in our original state will not be accepted and will not be returned to the customer. It is upon the discretion of But First, West if a return will be accepted or not based on the condition it is returned to the maker. The customer is responsible for shipment and arrival of the return package to But First, West. At this time, But First, West is only offering a return shipping and handling label provided directly from our shop with an approved Return Request. For all domestic return orders, a non-refundable flat shipping rate of $10 USD will be taken out of the return refund. Please note that the shipping charges from But First, West to the customer paid for at the time of order are non-refundable. If the products to be returned exceed a S/H rate greater than $10 USD, the customer is responsible for the total amount of the S/H label which will be deducted from the total refund.

Returns are being processed within 14 business days of arriving back to us! Please ensure that your But First, West piece is packed in a way that will protect it for the return journey. You have 10 business days to initiate a return from the date an order is delivered, regardless of where you are in the world. If the package does not track with viable shipping that is in transit back to the shop within 15 business days of the packages original shipping date (continues to show as "Pre transit), this is not the responsibility of But First, West and will not result in a refund of any kind. Returns that are not sent back within the 15 business days window will not be accepted.

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns on any collaboration items, custom design piece, any item from our Second's Shop or bulk wholesale orders and these are final purchase. We do not offer exchanges or alterations without prior approval directly from But First, West and may be subject to a customization fee.

All Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return.

At this time, But First, West does not offer exchanges. Items eligible for return can be processed for store credit as defined above.
