The Stetson tie-on bandana handmade by But First, West. Made from a handwoven organic cotton fabric and block printed with natural dyes, this bandana is light and airy.
NATURAL DYE: Today, we are part of a natural dye revival. The use of natural dyes contributes to artisen dyers and local economies.
BLOCK PRINT: This fabric has been block printed by use of the Dabu Method. One of the main components of Dabu is different variety of finely ground sand mixed with water, jaggery and wheat to form a sticky dye paste.
ORGANIC COTTON: When cotton is conventionally grown, it often uses toxic pesticides and environmentally harmful fertilizers. Organic cotton is a much safer option for not only individual growers but the ecological benefits of the farmland for future generations.
