It is important to understand that natural dyes change over time, adding to the unique characteristics of natural dyes. Correct care of this garment will not only preserve deep rich tones but also ensure this natural dye doesnt leak into other fabrics during the wash process. When washing naturally dyed fabrics, the pH is very important. To protect the natural dyes, you must use neutral pH soap and neutral pH water. Hand wash, Do not tumble dry. Washing this item in warm or hot water or tumble drying this item may cause the fabric to constrict and shrink. Please note washing the item will cause natural wear to the leather tag and tumble drying on high heat can cause fabric to shrink. Do not use bleach. Do not iron the leather tag. *Disclaimer: If you decide to purchase a custom iron on transfer with your bandana, washing can cause it to become worn over time and degrade in quality. To preserve the print of the iron on transfer, wash infrequently. Do not iron over the transfer, do not dry clean. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7. If using Tru Earth follow the instructions and note the detergent must completetly disolve in water before adding the garment. 

If you would like a custom name printed on your Bandana, Select "Bandana + Dogs Name". These will be placed on with Cricut cut iron on transfers and we will select the best color that goes with the design. If there is a particular color you would like, include your color preference if your check out note and  we will do our best to accommodate (although your color preference is not guaranteed if we do not carry that color in stock).

Not in love? Items must be in their original state: Unwashed, unworn, unaltered. Returns that are damaged or soiled or not in our original state will not be accepted and will not be returned to the customer. It is upon the discretion of But First, West if a return will be accepted or not based on the condition it is returned to the maker. The customer is responsible for shipment and arrival of the return package to But First, West. At this time, But First, West is only offering a return shipping and handling label provided directly from our shop with an approved Return Request. For all domestic return orders, a non-refundable flat shipping rate of $10 USD will be taken out of the return refund. Please note that the shipping charges from But First, west to the customer paid for at the time of order are non-refundable. If the products to be returned exceed a S/H rate greater than $10 USD, the customer is responsible for the total amount of the S/H label which will be deducted from the total refund.

Returns are being processed within 14 business days of arriving back to us! Please ensure that your But First, West piece is packed in a way that will protect it for the return journey. You have 10 business days to initiate a return from the date an order is delivered, regardless of where you are in the world. If the package does not track with viable shipping that is in transit back to the shop within 15 business days of the packages original shipping date (continues to show as "Pre transit), this is not the responsibility of But First, West and will not result in a refund of any kind. Returns that are not sent back within the 15 business days window will not be accepted.

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns on any collaboration items, custom design piece, any item from our Second's Shop or bulk wholesale orders and these are final purchase. We do not offer exchanges or alterations without prior approval directly from But First, West and may be subject to a customization fee.

All Sale items are final sale and not elligable for return.

At this time, But First, West does not offer exchanges. Items eligible for return can be processed for store credit as defined above.

The buyer is responsible for providing an address that these carriers recognize as a deliverable address. Unfortunately, we have no control over a shipment once a package departs our makers studio. If there are any issues with delivery for reasons out of our control (address provided to us is not accurate, issues within the shipping company, etc.) we are not responsible for shipping delays. We are not responsible for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as delayed items, damages, or lost packages. We are not responsible for delays in shipping that are out of our control, such as epic snowstorms, natural disasters, or any other extraordinary circumstance that causes unforeseen interference with carrier routes.
