The Janis Accessories
These beautiful handmade accessories from But First, West are made from thick cotton corduroy fabric. They are sure to class up any adventure out on the town.
Our accessories come standard with the following attachments:
For the Collar (Bowtie / Sailor Bow):
A Velcro Loop. All our Bowties and Sailor bows will come with a velcro loop sewn onto the back of the item to adjust to your preffered collar for attachment. If you'd like to have two elastic loops glued to each edge of your accessory for added security, be sure to include our listing Add on: Elastic loops to your cart (1 per item).
For the Hair (Knotted Hair Bow / Classic Hair Bow):
Alligator clip to attach to hair. Have a short haired dog? Instead of the alligator clip, we are happy to attach the bow to a nylon baby headband instead, just drop us note with your order!
Do you have an extra large doggo such as a Great Dane or Mastiff and think a 2XL option might be best for you? Please contact us and we are happy to do a custom order for an additional small fee!

The buyer is responsible for providing an address that these carriers recognize as a deliverable address. Unfortunately, we have no control over a shipment once a package departs our maker studio. If there are any issues with delivery for reasons out of our control (address provided to us is not accurate, issues within the shipping company, etc.) we are not responsible for shipping delays or undeliverable packages. We are not responsible for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as delayed items, damages, or lost packages. We are not responsible for delays in shipping that are out of our control, such as epic snowstorms, natural disasters, or any other extraordinary circumstance that causes unforeseen interference with carrier routes.
Only let your furry friend wear a bandana or accessory and use all products when supervised for their safety. We are not responsible for any damages to our products or damages to any personal property caused by your furry friend <3

Not in love? Items must be in their original state: Unwashed, unworn, unaltered. Returns that are damaged or soiled or not in our original state will not be accepted and will not be returned to the customer. It is upon the discretion of But First, West if a return will be accepted or not based on the condition it is returned to the maker. The customer is responsible for shipment and arrival of the return package to But First, West. At this time, But First, West is only offering a return shipping and handling label provided directly from our shop with an approved Return Request. For all domestic return orders, a non-refundable flat shipping rate of $10 USD will be taken out of the return refund. Please note that the shipping charges from But First, West to the customer paid for at the time of order are non-refundable. If the products to be returned exceed a S/H rate greater than $10 USD, the customer is responsible for the total amount of the S/H label which will be deducted from the total refund.
Returns are being processed within 14 business days of arriving back to us! Please ensure that your But First, West piece is packed in a way that will protect it for the return journey. You have 10 business days to initiate a return from the date an order is delivered, regardless of where you are in the world. If the package does not track with viable shipping that is in transit back to the shop within 15 business days of the packages original shipping date (continues to show as "Pre transit), this is not the responsibility of But First, West and will not result in a refund of any kind. Returns that are not sent back within the 15 business days window will not be accepted.
Unfortunately, we do not offer returns on any collaboration items, custom design piece, any item from our Second's Shop or bulk wholesale orders and these are final purchase. We do not offer exchanges or alterations without prior approval directly from But First, West and may be subject to a customization fee.
All Sale items are final sale and not eligable for return.
At this time, But First, West does not offer exchanges. Items eligible for return can be processed for store credit as defined above.
