The Clay
Meet the Clay, our first ever sourced square bandana. Our new square bandanas are one sided and are meant to be folded over in half and tied like a traditional bandana. This bandana is 100% organic cotton and designed with a block print handmade in India from natural elements.
This bandana is available in only two different sizes:
1) Small/Medium: 18" x 18"
2) Large/XL: 21"x21"
Size 'Large/XL' is 21x21", the same size as a traditional bandana and perfect for humans if you'd like to match, a wise woman did once say to normalize twinning with your best friend.
NATURAL DYE: Today, we are part of a natural dye revival. The use of natural dyes contributes to artisen dyers and local economies.
BLOCK PRINT: This fabric has been block printed by use of the Dabu Method. One of the main components of Dabu is different variety of finely ground sand mixed with water, jaggery and wheat to form a sticky dye paste.
ORGANIC COTTON: When cotton is conventionally grown, it often uses toxic pesticides and environmentally harmful fertilizers. Organic cotton is a much safer option for not only individual growers but the ecological benefits of the farmland for future generations.
NOTE: Products may look slightly different than feature photos shown due to fabric pattern and the nature of handmade products. The backside of this bandana is bare. The edges are folded over and sewn, and the backside is a the color of the bandana without a pattern. As these products are handmade from organic materials, the sizing may not be exact.
