The Camp Flag

Sizing information for the dimensions of the BFW Base Camp Flag:

Campsite (Small): 11" x 17" For claiming a little corner of the wild.

Base Camp (Medium): 18"x 24" For wherever you and your camper call home for a while.

Outpost (Large): 24" x 36" For making your presence known.

If you use a water soluable ink such as demonstrated above, do not wash the fabric if the water-soluble ink is the actual artwork or printed design you want to keep. Water, rain, or a trip through the washing machine will likely make the ink bleed or dissolve/ wash away the design. 

Do not iron over the prints to try and "heat set" them. Heat will not make water-soluble stamp ink permanent and might discolor the canvas.

Spot clean when necessary being careful of the paw prints left and lay flat to dry! 

Please note washing the item will cause natural wear to the leather tag and leather bandana hook. Do not iron the leather tag. 

*Disclaimer: If you decide to purchase a custom iron on transfer with your bandana, washing can cause it to become worn over time and degrade in quality. To preserve the print of the iron on transfer, wash infrequently. Do not iron over the transfer, do not dry clean. 

If you would like a custom name embroidered on your Base Camp Flag, select "+ Camp Name" as the custom type of Flag. You must list the name to be embroidered (max 10 characters) and the color you'd like it to be embroidered in. Be as specific as possible with your color choice; for example we prefer you say "Light Blue" as opposed to "Blue". This helps us make sure we get your color concept as close to your vision as possible! 

If you prefer a vinyl iron on transfer when purchasing this Flag, purchase 'No Camp Name' for the design option. Then add 1 quantity of the 'ADD ON: VINYL' and select your font and color with this option instead found HERE.

Not in love? Items must be in their original state: Unwashed, unworn, unaltered. Returns that are damaged or soiled or not in our original state will not be accepted and will not be returned to the customer. It is upon the discretion of But First, West if a return will be accepted or not based on the condition it is returned to the maker. The customer is responsible for shipment and arrival of the return package to But First, West. At this time, But First, West is only offering a return shipping and handling label provided directly from our shop with an approved Return Request. For all domestic return orders, a non-refundable flat shipping rate of $10 USD will be taken out of the return refund. Please note that the shipping charges from But First, west to the customer paid for at the time of order are non-refundable. If the products to be returned exceed a S/H rate greater than $10 USD, the customer is responsible for the total amount of the S/H label which will be deducted from the total refund.

Returns are being processed within 14 business days of arriving back to us! Please ensure that your But First, West piece is packed in a way that will protect it for the return journey. You have 10 business days to initiate a return from the date an order is delivered, regardless of where you are in the world. If the package does not track with viable shipping that is in transit back to the shop within 15 business days of the packages original shipping date (continues to show as "Pre transit), this is not the responsibility of But First, West and will not result in a refund of any kind. Returns that are not sent back within the 15 business days window will not be accepted.

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns on any collaboration items, custom design piece, any item from our Second's Shop or bulk wholesale orders and these are final purchase. We do not offer exchanges or alterations without prior approval directly from But First, West and may be subject to a customization fee.

All Sale items are final sale and not elligable for return.

At this time, But First, West does not offer exchanges. Items eligible for return can be processed for store credit as defined above.

The buyer is responsible for providing an address that these carriers recognize as a deliverable address. Unfortunately, we have no control over a shipment once a package departs our makers studio. If there are any issues with delivery for reasons out of our control (address provided to us is not accurate, issues within the shipping company, etc.) we are not responsible for shipping delays. We are not responsible for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as delayed items, damages, or lost packages. We are not responsible for delays in shipping that are out of our control, such as epic snowstorms, natural disasters, or any other extraordinary circumstance that causes unforeseen interference with carrier routes.

Our shop's processing time varies pending the season, the item and the quantity ordered. We do our best to ensure our shop's processing time in the studio is under 10-14 business days (For us to get the item handmade and prepared for shipment). Some items may take longer than this processing window (i.e customization, patchwork bandanas or our Base Camp Roll up Dog Mat). As most our items are handmade to order, we do NOT guarantee items to be shipped within this processing window, this is only listed as our typical window.
